well this is my first ever post, so i should probably use it to explain what on earth it is you're looking at.
as you've probably gathered my name's vikki-kate and i take pictures for a living. i've been doing photography professionally for just over two years now and i absolutely love it, after buying my first "real" camera instantly i knew it was what i wanted to do with the rest of my life. photographing people is probably my favourite part, and there is nothing i love more than people in love, so shooting weddings is a dream come true for me.
i did my first wedding in july last year, was surprised about how nervous i was before-hand but literally the minute i started it melted away and i loved every second. i feel really honoured and privileged that from shooting that first wedding i now have five booked for the coming year and one in 2012 already!
i do a lot of portrait and creative photography which i would say makes the bulk of my work and has helped me a great deal in booking these weddings, but i think actually having one down was really the boost i needed.
i've created this site to keep my weddings as a separate little venture so they can get the attention they deserve, and i hope you all love following me through a years worth of working with beautiful couples as much as i'm sure i'm going to.
